this book challenge is proving to be a bit more daunting than silly me foresaw. i guess if i really want to read 52 books in one year, i’d have to pick slimmer or easier titles. so that’s not gonna happen. we’ll see how far i get. in any case – i finished ‘everything is illuminated’ by jonathan safran foer and i absolutely loved it. it’s very different from ‘incredibly loud and extremely close’, though the experimental story techniques and touching, unsentimental prose did remind me why i enjoy reading foer’s work so much. next up: steve jobs’ biography. i figured i couldn’t stay behind on that one – but i’m hoping it’s actually good. anyone read it yet?
