some people are so nice and cool, you just know from the moment you meet them that you’re gonna love everything they do. yves drieghe is one of those people for me. one of the masterminds behind belgian design platform de invasie, he is also a graphic designer and he has his own product brand – nottooarty – that surprises with every new edition that it launches. last time, it was a coffee notebook (one that i immediately added to my wish list and have used many times since receiving it). this time, it’s pictures of walls.

yves has an incredibly inspiring eye for detail – i always love studying his pictures from trips to new york or milan. it’s like he sees things differently. now he is using several of his photos of walls as a print for pillows, chairs and beautiful scarves, and i can’t get over how genius that is. just like addictlab’s citywear, they are so much more than scarves. i like to think of it as textile art, and would honestly not know whether to use it as decoration for myself or my home.

yves was kind enough to take these pictures especially for 70percentpure. thanks so much yves, i love them to bits!
