Ou Bien

i was ridiculously excited to go to ou bien for the first time, as i had seen pictures online that made me hope i would finally find the perfect place in geneva. what i found even exceeded my expectations – ou bien really has everything. the décor is charming and full of personality (and did you see that typography?!), the mood is warm and friendly, the food is great and – gasp – affordable, and on top of that, the place also sells lots of creative goodies, illustrations and posters. i finally found a place to stock up on masking tape if i need it, and to have a healthy lunch with friends. the menu is fairly limited, but the butternut and goat cheese tarte and salad i had was absolutely delicious. i also discovered the swiss gazosa sodas here, and i think it’s safe to say i’m obsessed.

update: sadly, last time i wanted to go here, ou bien appeared to have closed up shop.
