New York Shopping

December 6, 2012 • New YorkTravel

a visit to new york is not complete without some shopping, don’t you agree? whenever i have a trip coming up i try to spend as little as possible closer to home, in order to spend it on my favorite american brands and in those dozens of cool hip boutiques all over brooklyn.

i have a few i always return to: the future perfect in williamsburg, for cool and original interior design objects (i bought my themis mobile there two years ago); mast brothers, for their chocolate (that i like as much because of the packaging as because of the taste) and madewell, for their fun and affordable fashion (it’s j.crew’s little, cooler sister). check out the christmassy packaging and the cute prints on the stuff i got!

this time i was happy to discover a few new ones, like pilgrim surf + supply in williamsburg (cool fashion for dudes, retrosuperfuture sunglasses and the coolest surf and camping gear), and the awesome best made company pop-up shop on white street. if you’re in new york before christmas, definitely stop by there – not only is the shop’s interior amazing (i love and want to marry that tent), but they sell the. best. goodies: red woollen blankets, giant maple syrup jars and their trademark axes. we both got each other a christmas present from this shop, and i can’t wait for december 25th to show you guys what we got.
