i was looking forward to seeing tom dixon‘s work at most in milan because i’m a huge fan of his use of metal. yup, here i am again with the copper! though i think tom dixon could possibly be the original, he’s been working with the material for ages, it feels.

unfortunately dixon’s lights are a little out of our price range right now (not to mention they would take up a disproportionate amount of space in our geneva apartment), so i’ll have to keep on admiring his work in – oh let’s say about every single one of – the cool new restaurants opening their doors lately.

but i sure wouldn’t mind adding one of his smaller ‘eclectic’ pieces to our home. how rad are those rubber-looking ceramic grid vases?

our trip to milan was kindly sponsored by connections
