Mookum X Snug Studio

December 20, 2013 • Home Decor

i really love these cardboard vases designed by snug.studio. i fell hard for this design studio’s quirky and graphic take on ordinary objects – like vases, cutting boards and even christmas ornaments. the beauties in the pictures above arrived in a flat pack, but they were super easy to fold and put together. i use them as a cover for small vases, like in my christmas decorations on top, but they are pretty enough just by themselves, too.

i got them via mookum – a belgian design company that not only sells great objects by belgian and international designers, but also functions as a design platform for new talent. they are working with some pretty cool designers to develop designs that are often a little ‘out there’ and always super smart. i really like this leather scarf holder designed by kuppers & wuytens, for example.

i recently started guest blogging for their website, together with a bunch of very talented design bloggers from around the world. you can check it out here if you like. there’s another cool mookum addition on its way to my home, and i can’t wait to share it with you – but it will have to wait until after the holidays. stay tuned…
