Weekend Greys

April 6, 2014 • Style

one of my favorite bloggers, natalie jean, wrote A FUNNY POST last week that inspired me to put together this outfit. she’s right, you know – the window of opportunity to wear leather jackets is so, so tiny, i should make better use of it. also, it was the perfect excuse to finally get out the leather perfecto lenny leleu custom designed for my wedding last year, and it turned out to be the perfect piece to add some polish to my otherwise super relaxed weekend outfit.

when i saw these fancy track pants from athé by vanessa bruno hanging on the rack at francis ferent, i knew they were meant for me even before i put them on. obviously they are super comfortable, but the wool lining on the insides of the legs adds a nice twist. i decided to go in full-on comfort mode, adding sneakers and my softest cashmere sweater to the mix. you can see why i needed to add some polish with the perfecto and a structured bag – they were the only things making this outfit acceptable for wearing outside (at least in my opinion).

oh and p.s. – the reason i’m laughing so hard in that one picture is because my guy is – rightly so – making fun of my ‘blogger pose’, but you should see his awkward photographer poses. priceless.

wearing VANESSA BRUNO ATHE pants via francis ferent (from last winter) // THEORY cashmere sweater // L’AGENCE tee // LENNY LELEU leather perfecto // MADEWELL scarf // NIKE flyknit lunar one+ sneakers // RAY-BAN aviator // CELINE luggage tote (available in belgium at HOUBEN)
