i’ve gradually rolled into loving coffee: starting with sweetened starbucks drinks and over time evolving to more sophisticated nespresso. but to be honest, i never thought i’d become passionate about coffee – until i started exploring what nyc had to offer in terms of cappuccinos and lattes. it wasn’t until my most recent trip however, that i discovered stumptown (conveniently located right by the ace hotel), and i’m afraid it’s ruined me for every starbucks-like wannabe-barista-chain in the future.
