i was invited by the turkish embassy in brussels to attend istanbul fashion week – and i honestly didn’t know quite what to expect. there weren’t any turkish fashion designers on my radar yet, and i hadn’t been to turkey at all. it turned out to be a few days filled with friendly people, organisational chaos, interesting young creatives, and gooooood coffee. here are my first impressions of my trip last week, and i can’t wait to tell you more about a few cool designers i discovered.
