i’ve never seen a niche travel guide i didn’t desperately want to have before. so it goes without saying this one about nashville is going on my list. even aside from the fact that nashville seems totally amazing and full of good food and crazy music talent, i’d plan a trip there just to be able to use wildsam’s field guide. it has essays, memorabilia (a never-published-before note by johnny cash! my hero!) and tips from the locals and thought it doesn’t seem as if it has any pictures, it does hold hand-illustrated maps. perfection.
