i have to say – i love wedding planning. it’s just so much fun thinking of cute little details that will make our party special to us and to our guests. i started out with a huge moodboard on pinterest, but the difficult thing has been to pick and choose those things that are doable in the first place, and fit in with the bigger picture, too.

one thing that has been very clear to me from the start, is that there should be a lot of typography. not just for the sake of adding pretty letters to the look and feel (though that’s a definite plus) but also because i love including little messages. i love it when product packaging has witty copy, when a hotel has cute signs everywhere or when a restaurant’s menu goes beyond just describing the dishes. so it feels super natural to me to be thinking of little ways in which to speak to our family and friends during our big day.

these are a few inspirations that i’ve pinned during the past few months. the trick will be not to copy them, but to make these ideas our own and surprise. the bottom left picture is that of our wedding stamp, the typography for which was handmade by my lovely friend pablo hannon!
