a while ago, i was asked by antwerp accessory label diamanti per tutti to create a capsule collection. i didn’t think the incredible experience of seeing my drawings come to life could be topped, but the past few weeks since the launch have been pretty amazing.

i don’t know how designers do it – cope with that moment when their collection is being presented and feedback starts pouring in. i was super nervous to hear what people had to say – especially since i’d never done anything like this before – but reactions have ranged from incredibly sweet to downright positive. i gotta tell ya – i didn’t see that kind of support coming and it totally rocked my world.

 things got even more fun when the lovely people behind diamanti per tutti asked me to host a dinner with them in their antwerp pop-up store. i got to invite some of my favorite belgian blogger friends, and some of the bloggers i didn’t know personally yet but was dying to meet. i was genuinely touched they all made the trek to antwerp to be there, and it was so nice spending a relaxed evening with them, munching on the tasty treats louise de brabandere of thursday dinners (and kitchenet!) had brought. we had fun trying on every single piece of the complete collection, and celebrating the fact that the pop-up shop would re-open for good (it did – on february 4!)

being surrounded by wonderful, talented people and working together with a rad company like diamanti per tutti – i admit there were moments where i had to pinch myself to believe this is actually my life. i’m very proud and thankful to be a part of it all.
