i was only in oslo for a day and a half (and not even that, really) but i managed to visit the best place in town for a truly great coffee: fuglen. (full disclosure, my friend and i hassled our wonderful guide to take us to the coolest place in town and he kept wanting to show us fabulous clothing shops. but we were all about the coffee.) everything from the interior design (vintage) to the baristas (super cool dudes) was pretty much perfect, so it didn’t really matter this place amounted to one third of what i’ve seen of oslo. also, it probably helped the other two thirds were a fantastic exhibition of norwegian talent (read my friend philippe’s report about it here)
